probably not out on a highway though? i could see in town where traffic is slow but not where speeds are higher. this is a prime example of why its a bad idea you are paying more attention to the cars immediately around you and looking to weave back over and cant pay attention to whats happening on down the road.

People split traffic that is completely stopped on the freeway while they are going 60mph+ in California and this include CHP bike cops from time to time.

I am not saying its safe or smart but I don't have a problem with it... its his life.

yeah but its my vehicle he might hit because his A.D.D. kicked in and hes not paying attention. its highly unsafe to be doing manuevers like that especially if traffic is stopped. you never know when someone is going to decide to switch lanes and blocks that small gap you are racing down. like i said if you are in a town i dont see it being a big deal but out on the highway its dumb to allow it. but of course that is california we are talking about so its not surprising they would allow something like that.

Legally you're not suppose to be going faster than 15mph when lane splitting. Some go faster others slower. One great thing about california, lane splitting is legal lol
