run a thicker oil in it, the viscosity will help, some 15w50 or some 10w40

I had some oil pressure issues with my chevy but once I went to Valvoline racing 50 weight it has plenty even at idle when its hot. I am sure I lost a little hp but the thing is a boat anchor anyways so I just want it to live when I am revving the shit out of the POS.

Edit- Btw we are talking about a 140,000+ mile engine that has most likely been beaten on its entire life. She is a lil worn out ;P

For sure, I've put probably 50 on her since I bought her.. She's at 166k now.

I'll just baby the shit out of her till her inevitable doooooom.
