I wouldn't attempt ferrying a child around in the back of my Camaro. The interior would be destroyed. Its impossible to put anything back there without bumping and scraping stuff.

is this even a question? a tight sportscar vs a 4 door diesel, lol with a kid on the way, errrr tdi all but guarunteed to last for over 200k miles, better mpg, more room, and oh yeah its a diesel so it will virtually run forever if you dont beat it, your a dad now, your amateur streetracing days are over

Our newer common rail diesels arent as bulletproof as they used to be. In this situation i'd be willing to bet the camaro will need less maintenance than the jetta over their lifetime.

The camaro still isnt practical though

not even close youd have better luck buying a turbo 4 banger van for what hes looking for, a racecar/child carrier lol good luck deciding, maybe a old nova wagon with a 350 or greater would work and save tons, except on gas!!!! :P

Which part isn't close? I can't tell if you are agreeing with me about the camaro or disagreeing about the jetta.

Im probably going to get flame for this but I don't care, the girlfriend and I are happy about it, but we got this, had 27 miles on it for 22k
Also put the car seat in and it fits, shes 5'4 so she can sit with the seat up for room for the car seat, and we are going to put some seat covers of some sort to protect the interior some.. and im not going to street race it or anything, I just like certain cars. And inb4 ford sucks or whatever
