Your leaving out all the suspension shit and forgetting I'm in Canada lol. Getting parts here sucks. And yeah I'm aware of the Valve guides. I doubt they're going to give me anywhere close to enough on trade-in anyways so unless they'll sell it to me for something stupid I'll most likely want to sell my car first which could be a pain.

I would wait and get an 08+ personally. Better trans, way nicer interior. I've already seen a few drop below 40 that were in good shape.

In the long run I wouldn't keep the stock seats regardless, and I can piece together the other shit so the interior isn't a big deal for me. It would be nice to have the 2008+ trans but depending on the price point I can get this at I'll live without it. Cars modded this much rarely come up for sale up here and when they do the asking prices are generally ridiculous. That's the main reason I'm interested in this car. Our dollar is shit right now too so going into the States for anything really isn't worth it either.

There are lots of little differences in the 08 up cars. I understand all of your points though.

If i get my house done in time i plan on selling my silver trans am and putting half down on the first nice 08+ Z i see in the mid-low 30's after they start getting sold for c7z's. I expect them to be there in a year and a half.
