Would they include fixing minor cigarette burns for that?

This is probably something I have to discuss with whoever is doing it I guess.

Not a chance.

Depending on how much they do and what they use to do it a detail is going to be between $100-$1000. Theres no kind of set price.

Yeah. I guess it depends on size, type and condition of vehicle. I'm just going to go to Canadian tire spend 100$ on shit and spend an afternoon doing it myself. I also youtubed how to fix cigarette burns, ezpz.

My local Chevy Dealer, John Miles Chevrolet, does a full detail for $150. Wash, buff, wax, under body, engin***, and interior shampoo. I always ask for Cedric because he does the best job IMO. Damn good deal if I say so myself.

After I fix the paint by my wheel wells, I would do this if they do an engin*** detail job included for that price too..

This

Darquindae using a rotary buffer and turtle wax products might charge $250.

Someone using pinnacle or Adam's products with a nice DA buffer like a flex will be closer to $1000 and thats if its not too extensive. That person is also more likely to call it a paint correction than a detail.

definitely do it yourself. Especially if you don't have serious problems in your paint and you just want your car looking showroom fresh

Get a decent DA Polisher (I got the meguiars one from amazon for like $160), spend a little time on AutoGeek.net researching processes and what a compound does, what a polish actually does, what products you'll actually need, etc, etc. Follow directions and go to town. Its a good learning experience, you'll have the pride of doing it yourself, and just the second time you detail your car, you'll be ahead financially.

This.

I just posted last week asking about what to use etc. etc. I spent a lot of time reading up on it before doing so.
Obviously what i did is not as good as a professional job, but i used meguiars products(Detailing clay, polish, wax ) as recommended by MrShowtime and OldAndyAndTheSea.
I did it by hand this time around and im pretty damn happy with the results. But thats just me, i love doing stuff to my car. Did i have the money to have it professionally done? yeah, but id much rather do it myself, its something i had fun doing and was a cool learning experience, something im going to research more so my next time around is even better. Plus id rather invest that money in other performance stuff.
