@All - Thanks for the information, I knew the 15+YO thing, I'm thinking of importing a supra.
I haven't contacted insurance yet however I know if I have to I can go through facility insurance (Ontario).
I still have to contact MTO, just was hoping someone has done it, and I can go off their experience, I know RHD are a pain to insure, and 99% of companies won't touch them anymore.

This won't be till a bit before summer because of Canada, and I have a few scrappers I'm storing that I might just pawn off to friends to fix.

Just thought I could save myself 5-10K by doing this so why not?

Check local supra forums and look for a car that's already landed here or even look for an LHD supra, although those will sell for far more than an RHD one.

The current state of insurance for RHD cars in Ontario has become a lot worse in the recent years, some companies won't even take a second look if you're trying to insure an RHD vehicle. Some companies are dropping RHD policies when renewal times come.
When you go to MTO to register the car, you'll need papers you filled out for customs (All 12 pages of it), bill of sale, registration in Japan, etc. You will pay taxes here AGAIN. The first time you pay taxes is at the docks when the car lands in BC.

It would seem like you're saving a lot of money to do it yourself, but if you're not in with the right people, everyone involved with getting your car brought over is going to be dipping their hands into your pockets.
Trust me, buy a car that's already landed.

Also, as a heads up, starting bids for supras average at 5-6k. By the time it lands, it would have cost you upwards of 10k.

You can generally just get a front clip with engine and swap it. Be much cheaper and less of a headache int he end.
