its not too hard. just takes a little time. hardest part is getting a good sand.. on my wheels there was lots of tiny little crevices that was a pain. prolly took about 45min-1hr to complete each wheel sanding wise.
after that prime, paint and clearcoat is ez, just have to wait a little while in between each one.

I plasti dipped my rims and they look similar.
had them for about 6 months now and still going strong. No tears etc.
