First google to find out if that engine is interference or not. That's going to tell you a lot about what needs done.
Secondly, if it's an interference engine, assume that you will have at Least bent valves. I've also seen rare cases where the valves kissed the pistons and actually cracked one.
Last car I had with a broken timing belt I had a valve job done, and I had the head dipped and reconditioned for good measure. Was about a grand up front, but well worth it in the long run as I knew my head was solid for years to come.
Personally, I would snatch that up. Even if it runs you 1500$ to fix it, you still only have 3k total in a really nice caddy.
