Wet is injecting fuel and nitrous in the correct quantities.  Dry is injecting nitrous Pre MAF and letting the computer compensate for the nitrous.  A dry shot is simpler to plumb and install.  In many ways it is actually safer.  If the nitrous solenoid doesn't activate, nothing happens.  On a wet system if the nitrous solenoid doesn't activate it goes very rich and you can end up with a nasty backfire in the intake manifold.  If the fuel solenoid doesn't activate it goes extremely lean and usually blows the engine.  Dry shots are great for anything under 200-250hp worth.  Anything over that and it becomes very hard to tune for. That's why you see most race cars running multiple stages or a really big single stage using a wet system.  For a street car a dry kit works great if you get the car tuned for it.

No telling what the elevation of that track is. A 150 shot on a full bolt on LT1 should be 450whp. That is more than enough for 11's in an auto. I ran 11's in a 6 speed car with that much power. It will have a lot to do with how it leaves. When my friend ran 12.1 on a 100 shot he sprayed from the bottom of 2nd gear. His 60ft times were in the low 1.7's.

Full bolt ons, 150 shot, and a CC503 cam which isn't very big. Says he ran 11.43 @ 118.8 later that night when he didn't spin. That's about right. I trapped 119.6 at 450whp with a 6 speed.

Seems doable. It won't be a full bolt on though. Just an exhaust cai and some spray . Should be fun though

That is pretty much full bolt ons on an LT1. No one ever does an intake manifold, EWP, or underdrive pulley. At most they throw an LT4 intake on. My friend's had cheap pacesetter headers and Y pipe with a hooker catback and a K&N CAI. Performabuilt LVL 2 4L60E with a 3000 stall.

I'm going to be runnig some pacesetters and no cat. Just straight pipeing it .

be careful what you spray onto an lt1. unless your aftermarket internals.

Why? They are known for holding a shit load of nitrous. A 200 shot is easy peasey. He is only wanting to spray 150.
