theres a sheet of ice on the road too. we dont get deep snow usually but we almost always have everything covered in ice. like i said everything that was melting is now freezing because the temps have dropped below freezing. you northerners dont understand the differences in snow. ive been on the pennsylvania turnpike an hour before it was shut down because of snow and we were still driving 60mph like nothing was going on. ive been in lake effect snow in buffalo ny and it wasnt too bad. the farther south you go the worse conditions get not because of inches of snow but because of what the temps do to the snow.
ive seen it snow north on the ohio river and 15 miles away where i live everything got coated in 1/8 inch of ice with no snow.
buddy you think I'm new to ice?
just last week we had weather of ~5 celcius all day and it poured rain for an entire day and a half...the afternoon the next day it immediately transitioned to -20 winds in a couple hours. ice on fucking everything...including roads derp
thank god my boss was nice that day and let us all leave early before the freeze got bad
