Maybe you're too dense to understand.

It wasn't my car. She left it here when she moved and expected me to pay for it even though my names on none of it. Got to drive it free for almost 3 months until the guy took it.

In that time I saved a bit and now I have the money for a replacement.

Actually a good choice.

Cool that you got to drive the car for free, and don't have to take the hit on your credit for not paying for it.
Those are pretty decent cars though, and I bet you could find one for the 3k you've got saved....
But for me personally, I'd go snag a crownvic or something.
