not sure about the insurance. IF anything it would only be a few dollars.

trololo

I wish...I live in Ontario and we're known for having some of the highest insurance rates for motorcycles out of anywhere

as a first year rider with an msf course riding only a ninja 300 I've been quoted at ~2500 for the year, and alot of companies won't insure a new rider at all

lol....to give you an idea of how outrageous it is...

for shits I just did an online quote through the same company that gave me the 2500 for a ninja 300, and for a 2008 cbr 600rr it would cost me 11 grand for the year lol. most companies would outright refuse me on any supersport bike or even just for being a new rider period

nah if it's a supersport 600+ cc bike the insurance is retarded. I even tried a 2013 honda shadow 750 (and that's just a big cool cruiser, prob slower than a ninja 300) and I got a quote of 6 gs. they really look at cc

I could do a cbr500r for about 3200 but I'd rather the ninja 300

edit: as a new rider you can really only go 125/250/300 and upwards of maybe a 500
