in that area its not how much snow they get, its how shitty they are at treating the roads because snow isnt that common.

Well, that and everyone has zero freaking clue what the hell to do when they start to slide. TN is much of the same.

FYI if u go to 35s u need a lift and Ur gunna need to regear, 33's and it's doable but anything bigger and it needs it

Also, don't put anything bigger than 35's on the stock running gear

Wow... never realized how big the fender flares were on these... better not go to a wider tire or it'll look like an airplane by the time you get them covered lol. Nice purchase though :) 12v swap!

My plan is to go 35s, no bigger any time soon.

From what I have read I can get by with 35s without lifting it if I get some flat fenders but it would rub some. I want to lift ASAP but I might not be able to by the time I get tires so I might just work around it for a couple weeks.
I gotta figure out what to do with rims first. If i get 35s will they fit on the factory 16" rims? Im not a huge fan of the rims but if I can get the tires for now and rims later on I may do that so I can also but bumpers and a top.

you can get 35's for a 16 inch wheel and yes you can re use them as long as the back spacing will still work

but im telling you now, you need to regear with 35's

i just helped my buddy adam with his 08 unlimited 4door jk, it has the 3.8 6 cyl with 4.10's and hes on 33's right now and it could use gears anything bigger and it NEEDS them. he bought the teraflex 3 inch kit and he put bush wacker fenders on it and got rid of the stock ones.

soon hes going to come to me and want to do gears, and at that point im going to tell him, lets just put 1ton axles under it and 4 link the rear and 3 link the front while were at it, and do an atlis transfercas and put a supercharger in it :)

The big issue currently is that I cant afford to do all of the mods at once right now. Tires are a must soon and while I could pick up a set of OEMs for under $200 easily, Id rather just go with the 35s now instead of waiting. How much do you guys think it would cost to have it regeared? Ive never had the guys to mess with gears on my own but my Mustang was quoted at a little under $500 so I imagine two axles wont be cheap.
