For a while last week or the week before Alberta had the coldest recorded temperature anywhere in the world at the time.

Nothing gets dirty when it's THAT cold, shit just stays frozen. Not even the tire ruts in the road warm up.

But no (Or very minimal) salt here, it's kind of nice.

We don't use any salt here.

The damage out weighs the benefit and it's expensive.
