Taking a good look at it I understand why it ended up looking like it does.  They say the wheelbase is the same, but they cut 200lbs.  A lot can be cut by the engineering department with lighter materials etc etc.  They can never cut as much as the design department can.  If the wheelbase is the same, the car looks quite a bit shorter.  The front overhang is minimal, hence the BRZness.  It looks a bit RC car like.  I bet it will look a lot better with different wheels and the 4x4 stance removed.  For the most part I like the back end.  The front looks neutered and the side view is

I have nothing against European cars but I am not blind and I work on things myself so I see more of the car than the interior, the hood, and the gas cap.  Everything has it's place.  Your pompousness is hilarious though.
