Im not set on buying new.  I would happily buy something 1 year old with low miles and 2 years remaining on warranty.

I would only buy new if I go with a civic Si because the depreciation isnt there to justify it.

I am looking into leasing a fr-s or mustang now, really just can't make up my mind.

Also, black or red? =)

grabber blue v6 mustang

wtf is this black or red nonsense?! :)

Opinions about driving style etc. aside....I really like both cars for different reasons and have driven both.

I am asking you opinion about reliability and comfort as far as daily driving 30-45 mins each way 5 days a week.

Scion FR-S
Mustang v6 (maybe premium, maybe not)

Can I also have a general comparison of fuel and insurance cost comparison?  The mustang doesn't require premium fuel so I think it would be cheaper to fill up, but insurance I have no idea.

My budget is ~23-24k, so the FR-S would probably be used unless I get a great deal at the end of the year (same if I want a premium v6 mustang)

Thank you very much for your opinions.

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving.  Hell yes for having 4 days off =)

My first car was a 2011 premium v6, black, and I absolutely loved it. My only criticisms of the car would be how little rear visibility there is, and the steering wheel was kinda funky, but I didn't mind how thick it was (that's what she said). Also, the handling and steering were not nearly as comparable to that of the 2002 M3, which I now own. Don't attempt to race people on the highway though with a v6, you'll probably end up looking silly. Regardless, if your budget is 23-24k, I would HIGHLY (really can't emphasize this enough) recommend you do some searching/shopping and try to find a GT that falls within that price range, or close to it. Remember, it's easy to bargain for cars, and chop down the price as long as the dealership/person is willing to haggle.

As for your insurance... it really depends on your driving history/how old you are/insurance history. For me, I had to pay like $350 a month or something when I first got mine because of no previous insurance, and I was younger than 26 or 25 w/e the age limit is.

The steeling wheel in the mustang is so disgusting I almost don't want one now because of it.

I am leaning towards an 2013 Si civic now.

I went and looked at the FR-S, I didn't fit in it very well (6'1 tall). Civic and mustang both seemed more spacious.

The insurance on the GT mustang is just ridiculous, it adds like 100$ to insure it vs any other car i'm considering. I am 24 with a clean license.

Just buy a lightly used 5.0

And I fail to see a steering wheel problem here, granted its the gt500

Buy a aftermarket steering wheel?
Or drive a shitty econobox town car with a big H on the hood, screaming HELP me and smash this thin

Naw im kidding, them imports are decent. Newer civics look not to bad imo. But the choice should be obviously. The mustangs. But, you gotta pay to play

if you don't get into the habit of trying to sell off your 4.6 every chance you get you will be stuck with it forever.
