my dad bought himself a 800 cam am, auto. and man ill tell you, this thing changed the way i used to see quads. honestly lol. the only utility type quads i used to ride all the time. compared to this thing is

never been on a quad cruising at 60mph, tromp on it and spin tires sideways down the old dirt road

its a 08, in 2 years of me and him being rough as shit on it, we broke the stock winch, battery cables kept falling apart... yea? and 2 sets of tires. oh and a wheel bearing

also has a engine break :O , wierd at first, but once you learn to use it. its one handy ass tool ( like a jake-brake )

and as a utility thing, we have used it to haul wood, plow his drive way, and anything els guys would use a quad for in the county...

Honda 400EX

One of the best quads ive ridden for all around bashing. Not super fast and the suspension isn't race ready or anything but it gets the job done and will take a beating.

If you need 4x4 get a truck imo

And this..

I have a truck. I want a 4x4 quad.

E: I really want another scrambler. You don't know how fun it is until you rude one. It's strange. I had a raptor before and a can am 400, and they're not nearly as fun.

I am not a fan of 4x4 utility style quads

Something like that I see as a farm quad to be used to tow shit, etc. not something you would go rip up in the woods..

Not my cup of tea.

my buddy used to have a 500 scrambler like the second pic in your first post. it was ok until the drive belt started slipping. i wouldnt hardly call it a sport either it would run side by side with my 300ex when it was still pretty much stock. if you just want something to ride around on grass and in pastures the scrambler is alright.

yeah my old one started slipping too, but that was because I sunk it, lol. All I had to do was take the cover off, drain and clean the clutch, and put it back on with some sealant.
