For those that don't understand it... This video truly captures the essence of "The" TT better than any I've recently seen. No doubt because it wasn't produced by some bubble wrapped child having left wing American pussy.







Those riders get a chance to do something purely for the glory of it. Something so dangerous it makes pro football look like pick up sticks. It harkens back to the days when motorsport WAS about the danger involved. Back to the turbo F1 cars, the real stock cars at Daytona, all of the pre 1950 open cockpit GP cars, Le Mans... It is sadly one of the few connections we have to those eras.


What is impressive to me is just how fast guys were going before the super smooth suspension, steering dampers, and slipper clutches disengaging power from tires that stick like glue. Much less margin for error.

After 30mph it balances itself.


Over 100mph getting it to turn is the hard part.
