I have both insurance and a warranty. Im actually a decent driver and the side mirror broke off cause of improperly placed contruction barrel. It must have gotten pushed too much to the side on the highway. Would a warranty cover that? I have insurance also but if it isnt that expensive then ill just pay for it out of pocket instead of messing up my insurance rates.

What calls havent I made by myself? I was just attaining info since im very new to all of this. I just wanted some else's opinion/perspective before I spend 500 on this side view mirror. Yes I just got it done today and it was 500.

It also depends on what all is broken.
If its just the mirror assembly and none of the attachment points on the car are broken it should be super easy.
It would probably only take me a minute or two to take my side mirror completely off

Some of the attachment points got snipped so it was kinda expensive to replace the whole thing.
