if he lives a hour away he can come meet you and hand you cash, anything like that over paypal is a scam especially if they tell you that they want to ship it to africa

I shipped the vette to germany a few years back... If they pay to pick it up and ship it and everything, I don't see a problem with it. Even with PayPal, I received the money, had it verified and had the information as to when the car would be picked up from my house. It was a smooth process if they're willing to do the logistics.

Have him give you a banker's check. Those can't be revoked. It's basically cash on a piece of paper that's more secure than a check.

after you receive this, if you're still feeling sketch about it. Have him go to a bank with you, say you two are just going for a drive to show him how the car feels. Take him to the bank and have them verify it and put it into your account.... Then give him the keys where he will proceed to leave you at the bank
