What was the motor/trans on the sterlings?

I've never heard anything bad about the sterlings with a cummins. Quite a few companies are swapping to them due to the new cummins line that is coming out.

We fucking hate seeing petes with sleepers come in at work. They are so damn heavy we can only load 44-45k lbs in them or their axle weights will be off. If it gets overloaded some poor sap has to dress out in a full acid suit and face shield and unload a few drums of 200 degree product through a 1 inch hose. It isnt obvious either. 80k- their tare could be 47000. They dont speak up about the axle balance.

lol I'm looking for one licensed for maximum 11000 KG with hydraulic brakes and one licensed for 16000 KG with pneumatic brakes

The 11000 kg truck is getting a 16-18 foot flat bed with a hydraulic hoist, while the 16000 kg truck is getting an 18 foot flat bed with a hydraulic hoist.

I'm currently quoting Hino, Freightliner, Western Star, Kenworth, Mack and International if anyone has input on brands even. Brand new trucks.

Even though the new freightliners hold up very well, i'm not a fan of them. they are a PITA to work on and as far as the trucks you'd be looking at, the cab is sub par. My opinion. Never been in or around a hino or western star though
