- MAP Sensor
- Cable Tactrix
- Evoscan

MAP Sensor + Tactrix cable 1.3u = 220$
Evoscan = 25$

These are bought! Waiting on them! Might give a shot to tuning :) Looks interesting

This should go without saying but pay someone for tuning. These cars are finicky as fuck, if you fuck up they are not forgiving. Also if at all possible get it on a dyno, remote tunes are never as good. For what it sounds like you want you might want to stay away from cams as well.

One of my mate has an evo Ix too with 500 tuned by himself, he will guide me into this :P But I do consider using a dyno instead of a vd.

Lol think about it, you are considering tuning your 20k+ car (which your already on a budget for). What if you fuck something up and can't afford to pay for it? I don't understand why you wouldn't just go with a reputable tuner who can get the max power, safely, out of a tune.

Tuners work with hundreds and hundreds of cars, you haven't lol. Decision would be obvious to me

everyone starts at number 1. even the best tuners.

i would suggest going with a professional tune also but if he feels confident in his buddies tuning prowess then go for it.

yeah, I mean I personally would use a reputable tuner because they have experience working with problems and kinks in the tune and usually have everything down perfectly. They've seen problems that a first timer won't notice

but if your gonna do it with your friend definitely rent a dyno like ride said
