a rdar detector is a radar detector, brand and make dont matter they all do the same thing. if you want something that is actually good, get a radar scrambler

If they are using instant on radar or ladar it is worthless unless you are tailing someone using them as bait.

whatever you do, don't listen to this retard

my friend with his twin turbo'd mustang got the passport after 3 tickets in a few weeks. He said it was pretty good, but he had a friend with a valetine1 which he said he wished he got instead. They can record false alarms such as alarms in malls and keep them stored in memory for future reference. I looked into them but opted against it due to the fact that I mainly drive within the same 20 mile circumference and know exactly where all the cameras and speed traps are. Basically, if you aren't willing to pay for the passport or the valentine, then don't even bother. Also like mentioned, check out the videos

Valentine One is a radar and laser detector....it's the best you can get, it's been around forever and has kept its name against all of the new shit that has come out. Pair it with a Blinder and you'd be in business.

I was leaning toward escort 9500 but everyone keeps saying v1. they are so damn ugly though lol, but then again the looks are not the point.

For years I've always heard v1 was the best. That's from a few friends and online reviews/car forums. I have no personal experience with any radar detectors though. And imo you'd be better off with no radar detector than a cheap one. A cheap one will give you a false sense of security causing you to drive faster and get tickets since it will fail. Whereas without a radar detector you drive normally and are wary of cops.
