I'd buy anything used except something that came boosted from the factory....people beat the fuck out of these cars and do shit mods to them. I'd never buy a used Evo/STi etc unless I knew the person selling it.

Depending on the car you are looking at, I would go used if your looking at a truck/suv/DD/beater

Anything semi-sporty, might want to consider new if you can afford it, then you know your not buying a car that got molested by some 16 year old who thought he was in fast and furious.

I usually always buy new cars, my last 4 cars have been new, but only because they are turboed vehicles and I prefer to know my vehicle wasn't stomped on and redlined every gear.

dont be mad my family is financially sound and can afford to buy me a new car, stop being jealous.

we dont care about how financially sound your parents are, and its fine for them to buy you stuff. just dont go around spewing bullshit like your the one that worked hard for it.

and @ op. buying used is usually the best way to go, unless you have a specific reason why you want to buy it new, such as rebates, new gen model( such as wanting to get the new c7 vette), but for the most part, theres no reason to buy new.
