I had a piece of slag get me in the eye good one day, bounced up under my mask and right in there, It was on a Friday afternoon, so the retard in me waited till Monday to go to the doctors

Im lucky I still have an eye, they had to use this little drill thing to get it out, because the eye had sealed over ontop of the slag and was rusting

was gnarly

so there indeed was a metal shard under my top eyelid, in my eye.
metal was removed, some yellow dye, some numbing eye drops then she had to grind the rust off my cornea with a small dremel.
glad I ended up going, I wasn't going to bother.
got some antibiotic eyedrops for 4 days.

a very smell dremel, she used it to grind off the rust that the metal left on my cornea, she said there was a ring of rust around where the metal stuck in my eye

so lesson learnt, safety glasses = shit and use a full face shield

do NOT use a magnet... we had a guy at the shop get a sliver of metal in his eye and decided to try a magnet. as soon as the magnet started pulling the piece out it irritated his eye and he looked away. Tore the inside of his eye up pretty good and ended up effecting his vision. just go to the eye doctor and be done with it. a bill from there is much cheaper then dealing with shit vision in one eye for life

lol my first instinct would be to see if I can pull it straight out with a magnet.

I wear contacts every day so I have a little protection in some areas, I can also probably deal with a little more irritation than others since I put my fingers in my eye every damn day anyway.

Shit vision in both eyes for life came naturally...need to get lasik
