How so? He just needs to go a model year or two older imo. Brand new he can afford a fiesta... or a chevy sonic...

You must not know much about economics and depreciation. You're very rarely "better off" financially buying new.

Get a charger
... as long as you dont care about actually driving it anywhere.

at 15k you have some fairly decent options, but out of that list id probably go lexus

Finding an 08+ for under 15k might be hard unless your looking at the V6. Plus the pre-2010/11s have a VERY plain interior on the base models.
