im pretty good on engines but i have no knowledge besidedes that besides what goes in a drag car, is it similar??? gears in the axel?? what kind of axel?? 12 bolt or 9 inch?

yeah them 4.56's didn't come stock in that truck

as far as I know 4.10's were the most they offered

and yes its a 9inch rear and a Dana 44 front, probably a high pinion?




ford also offered the 390, 400, and 460


that tranny is either a NP-435 or a Borg-Warner T-18

if reverse is all the way right and down, its a NP-435
