Keep in mind they'll have a much higher resale than the other cars your considering. Toyota financing on new cars is also usually quite good, and they offer student discounts if thats applicable to you. If you have a 25k budget they really aren't a stretch.

Walk into a car dealership throw down a certain % buy a ford raptor make monthly payments build your credit up..... those things are awesome you can jump them, but that's the only thing I like about it I hate fords :lol:

Do you need a truck or a car would be the first thing you should decide.

My last vehicle was a 2012 ram 1500. They get alright mpg if you keep you foot out of it, but that won't happen.

Diesel maintenance is a lot more expensive though , if he is on the fence about getting a car or a truck I highly doubt he needs a cummins

Toyota/Honda for economy and reliability. Just remember to always buy a model 2 years older or more on any car from a lot.
