Also, what's the difference in this cars rust than any other 90's or older model cars rust? Wouldn't every car alike so have rust as a con?

Well I have a SR20 but the main issues ive had with this motor so far is that the EGR sometimes plays havoc with my idle. throttle body sticks when pressing foot on accelerator. Half moon seals leak oil easy fix new rocker cover gasket. Some SR's or well ALL motors considering how old they are and how they've been maintained throughout their life may or may-not have oil sludge causing oil starvation. im not sure if this is a problem with all SR's but the engine mounts are made from really soft rubber causing them to sag and split.

Other then that the sr20's are a very strong motor providing the previous owners have maintained the car. but then again that goes for any car especially any 20+ year old car. anyways that's my 2c considering I own a SR
