lift it
put big tires on it
have to keep it at high rpms just to drive it normally

thats the redneck way down here. those things drive by at 30 mph sounding like its floored just to do 30mph lol.

yeah honestly if your looking for a dd you don't want a ''mud truck''

Just about anything you find will be beat to hell, probably best finding a older chevy truck and lifting it yourself, that way its all fresh and dependable, not something built 15 years ago and beat on ever since.

thats what happens when you don't build to spec

if you have a 48" total tire diameter u need a tall ass gear.

When you said bag I thought you were talking about air bags at first.
I get what you mean though.

I want something a bit more than just a winter driver. I like kayaking and mountain biking and I need something that can handle off road use with ease (nothing to intense like rock crawling).
I also dont have a problem doing things my self but I dont know how "involved" lifting a truck is.

Proportionally speaking, the white truck I posted is what I want height wise and tire size, for the most part.
Could you guys estimate how much it is lifted from the pics? The pic was from google and I followed the link and there as no useful info.

Tires rims and lift 2-3 grand for half decent shit. Nn hockey pucks
A truck of that year with life left in he 1-3 grand depeding. Prices vary from place to place, theres lots around here so they go dirt cheap most of the time

Also those trucks are older so lifts are cheaper, and there awsomely simple to do a basic 3-5 inch suspenion lift. Conpared to new chevys anyways :D

Thats also buyer new stuff that i priced. Used can go for alotess...

How much do you think the white truck a few posts back is lifted? Thats right about the stance I would want.

Not sure tbh, hard to say forsure by a pic
But i think it could be as big as 7" on 37s. But ino for what you want to use it for 5" on 35s gives you lots of room, esp on these older trucks. They sit high as is already

If you're going to buy a pre-lifted truck, buy it from texas. Those pussies dont do anything but mall crawl the shit out of them. Worst case scenario is they hit a speedbump at 15 mph...

A lifted truck anywhere else (like stated above) was not just lifted to be pretty 99 times out of 100
