Most obdII scanners dont read abs codes. Lots of small shops refuse to work on tge abs system for liability reasons. That doesnt mean it has to be the dealer though. Start making phone calls.

No but a substance that is flammable that evaporates quickly is very likely to reach its lower explosive limit under normal circumstances, hence the warning.
