for less the c4 zr1 is quicker, or the 05 or 6 was the engine upgrade right?

I have a really good deal low miles with heads cam full exhaust car from the original owner who bought it nee I'm 02

also 05-06 was during the bail out and alot of the parts were made cheeper and shittyer

02z's are a beautiful headache. I love/hated mine. Fast for what they are, super fun to drive. Unfortunately they had common issues. Electrical was terrible. Problems with turn signals and traction control/active handling. Common healight issues, transmission problems. Mine chipped second and eventually locked up. I never drove mine terribly hard. IMO the f1's wear fast. Stock brakes are annoyingly loud. Other than tthat iI loved it.

Also worth noting they had an issue with an oil tray up top, not sure exactly what that was because i sold mine around the time it started to smoke.
