Dorman makes a 2 piece universal boot that snaps together and you put bands on the ends. It's like $14 each and they're blue! I think they come in red too? Would be worth a look, I KNOW autozone can order them if you can get the lazy fucks to find them in thier computor. You really don't want to go pulling those axles apart if you don't have to.

The only time I've had cv's fail is after the boot leaks all the grease out.



You might even try rockauto. Com if autozone fails you. I have 3 heresorta locally and usually one of the three has someone behind the counter with a clue.

Not the fact that I have used them, the fact that those boots are trash and I have the tools to take things apart properly and do it right the first time VS some smo replacing a cv boot with a shitty split one, a kitchen knife and a fucking butter knife for a flat head.
