If an accident report was filed and you were listed as at fault your rates are going up lol.

I rear ended him, anyways there were no dents or chipped paint on his bumper but he said it looks like the bumper was pushed in a couple inches

Was wondering if this means his frame is bent and I'm fucked or if there's something small that is easily repaired and won't cost me much

I am insured but I'm a newer driver (almost 3 years) so my insurance will go way up if they pay for this

not a lot lol

i got in an accident my first month of driving and it ended up costing around 10k to fix everything

my insurance went up like 20 bucks a month lol

as long as nobody was cited...and nothing is handled through insurance your rates will not go up.

you also typically have a deductible anyways. if its below a certain amount your insurance wont pay for it it.

I don't think that's something to be proud of, lol.

Also, that's $240 dollars a year that could've went to something else.

the chassis should be fine.

Doesn't rly matter tho, your insurance go up the same if you totaled someone's Bentley or if they just did a 1000$ paint job for a scratch. Unless you hurt someone bad or kill someone.

The only way your insurance doesn't go up if you settle this yourself and no reports were filed. Or if you somehow get it to not being your fault. Sue him for negligence hahaha, bend the law.
