wires on wrong plugs. quit being a noob you pull one wire off and replace the plug and put the wire back on

Either you mixed wires or didn't gap them correctly.
Always check the gap. Never trust the part store.

the parts store dont gap them they leave them the way they came from the spark plugs manufacturer. therefore its never trust champion, ngk, bosch, ac delco, autolite, etc

Well the parts guy pulls them. That's what I was getting at.
Op did you drop any of them trying to get them in?

check the plug wires. maybe when you pulled it out you pulled on the wire and it created a broken connection.

Why would anyone not working on a Geo Metro replace only 3 plugs?

Because they're an amateur.

1. Crossed wire (most likely)
2. Overtorqued and damaged a plug
3. Didn't tighten one of the plugs enough
4. Pulled the wire instead of grabbing it by the boot

Solution; Sell Eclipse, buy Geo Metro

airflow meter, plug it out and check if its better. OR co2 sensor. Had the same problem with my bmw

One of the plugs is bad, bad wire...something.

Hopefully you didn't eff up the threads on either the block or the plug.
