yeah def not getting that much hp or mpg gains lol. but so far sadly it does have more hp and gas milage has been better. still have to check it on a longer scale. the hp he doesnt care to much about just hoping to squeeze more fuel mileage.

I wanna squeeze some more out of mine to but with a 5.0 in a thunderbird its kinda hard lol. although so far I cant complain about it to bad. need to get new shocks on it and exhaust ficed before anything else though.

Was it dyno'd?

You wouldn't really even be able to feel a hp gain unless it is 10% plus.

Mpg would have to be tracked overtime, and averaged before, and after to get a good estimate. That is if your car doesn't already track it.

I can drive like an old woman and get 30mpg, but the average mpg should be recorded on two tanks of gas, and then two tanks of gas after installation to have confident numbers. Anyone can have a placebo affect and feel like they're getting better mpg. This is assuming you drive equally as hard on all four tanks of gas.

Honestly, the gain would maybe be so small to not even notice.

no it wasnt dyno'd to poor for that :)

and yes i understand the placebo effect. my brother drives like a bad out of hell though and considering before it wouldn't break a wheel loose and it did after we put the resistor in says it did change some. also he has been filling the tank all the way up and measuring mpg. so doing that now to see if it increased much. even if it does some its worth it. I know some will say its bad for ur car and what not but that is why cars have safeguards and they adjust, thats the whole point in this really. its just safer and more beneficial if u can afford the $200 chip
