Haha! Yea it doesn't get much more awesome than this!

The welder definately needs replaced with a nice gas unit but for now fluxcore is about the best I care to do at my house. My welds are solid even if they aren't pretty, splattered everywhere and you can forget doing bodywork you want to look nice, but I've welded 4wd frames back together as well as subcompacts and mid size car frames and its all still holding up years down the road.

I'll probably spend most of Saturday welding grinding and painting the pipes... That is super thin old man swing pipes, not much thicker than sheet metal. the whole thing doesn't weigh more than 4 or 5 lbs. For the winch I plan on running a piece of 3/16 or 1/4" flat stock back to the crossmember bolts to make it functional but it will also be tied into the brush gaurd, the strain should be on two rigid 15mm shank crossmember bolts though.


Ooh, wait I see what you little bitches are crying about now, the holes!!! Fuck most of its just tacked together I did a tac on each side then ran a bead whereever it was convienient to reach while mounted and moved to the next piece...lol you guys are about retarded, that's not holes I put in it its just gaps that still need filled, there's holes all through these pipes from bolts that held the swing together too.

for the same price as your rims you could have bought an awd safari van and been even cooler.

this thing is awesome imo put some raise it and put some nice 32s off roading wheels after that engine swap.

I can't help but like this car... It amuses the hell outta me.

yea haha...everybody loves it, I had a guy in a lifted jeep today hanging out his window shaking his head giving me a thumbs up... every parking lot I go to people are staring and almost every time I get somebody wanting to come and talk to me about it. I had the local PD at my house today hanging out to BS about it, he's a friend. I went to go and get 4 dismounts and 2 mounted and balanced tires and junk 2 tires at a tire shop I have all my work done and the guys there went nuts drooling over my car, then charged me $10 for all the work I had done. I can't even count the number of people in the last 3 days that have asked what I want for the car as it sits....honestly if this keeps up I might have to slam it and be done with it lol, it's almost kind of annoying but it's a really good feeling to know there are some people in this world that appreciate custom work...




I lifted the ass end today, put in some 150lb miata rear springs, and installed a short throw shifter with my own custom made camshaft shift knob.
