you purchased a vehicle but left the office and your parents signed the paperwork? wtf?
so your parents purchased a vehicle?
Did you ask your parents what the hell happened in there? Whatever it was, it wasn't auto fraud. Sales guys do talk fast and promise you the world but when it comes time to put it on paperwork, they can "forget" to type it up. When I bought my car the sales manager promised me new front tires, but when the finance guy was filling out everything, there was an invoice saying what they owed, The finance guy just typed nothing and when he gave it to me, I informed him and he gave me the "well if he said it, then he'll do it, he's a man of his word". I politely said I've known your sales manager for 5 minutes, I don't know anything about him, he could be the most trustworthy guy in the world, but what goes on the paper is what becomes the truth, so if its not on there, I can't sign it. He just called the sales manager, verified that he promised new tires, retyped it up and then I signed it. It was quite simple
And, there is NO WAY in hell they could not know how much the are paying for the car, how much the monthly payments are, and the finance rate. Its typed up on the contract paper you sign with the "federal truth in lending" disclosures
