Quit driving it like a damn race car. I've probably doubled my tank mileage this week just having a light foot on the gas.
If that doesnt work, just dont drive it. If it doesnt move, it doesnt use gas.

This reminds me of my bud's old 98. We drove to a lake that was about two hours away... Had to fill up half way there, and it was nearly empty when we got there... so another full tank, and had to stop again about 30 minutes from home because the gas light came on. We're talking around 70$ fill ups at the time. Pretty expensive fishing trip.
