if i decide to go with my lq4 with ls3 heads/intake  and e85 which turbo should i look at?  was thinking a borg warner 76 mm of some sort but now im thinking i may just bump it up to a 83mm. the goal is 650 at the wheels tops

76mm is plenty big for your goal.

would provide MUCH better streetability than the monster 83mm.

I know of a few turbo Datsuns with a similar setup and they use something along these lines...only difference is your head. What is your final compression ratio?

Junkyard 6.0 LQ4
pistons with appropriate dish for 8.5-9 to 1 compression
Eagle rods
arp head studs
gm head gaskets
02 LS6 cam
stock heads
dual springs
Comp. pushrods
60 lbs injectors
76mm turbo of choice
48mm wastegate
50mm blow off valve
intercooler

easily a 600 whp setup. With room to grow

i def will need a ls car intake since it wont fit under the hood with a truck one, and im not even going to touch the pistons i dont think. the heads ive been debating on just using the stock ones with new springs ect. rest of it though is pretty straight forward lol. good to know a 76mm will get me there. i was a little worried lol

Before you spend any money on a turbo/setup you really REALLY need to buy maximum boost by corky bell. Sure, it's an old book, but it will tell you everything you need to know about a turbo, from choosing the right one for your engine/airflow to the size of pipes you need, and an appropriate intercooler. Most of the time if you see "stage 1, 2, 3.." it's a marketing ploy made for people that don't know better. Just because it says stage 5 doesn't mean it will be better for your engine than the next chinese knockoff you can buy. Serioius, get that book, you won't regret it.
