Sorry for mistyping so much guys I have a massive headache, spent 8 hours on car today and got nowhere!

headaches suck

im just trying some shot in the dark stuff so dont get too agitated with me but check this out and see if this does indeed look like your thermostat (maybe you got the wrong one idk). im guessing you wouldve noticed if it differed from what you pulled out but im not having any luck finding any solutions or other people saying theyve had problems with the thermostat not seating properly

if you have your old one have you tried placing it back in and checking to see how it fits and if it does the same thing the new one is doing?

Hey I know how to fix your img codes on your photobucket.

I was having trouble posting [img] codes and they were all coming out like yours are, linking back to the site. Was pissing me off.

Go to link options (under "albums" and turn off "link back to albums"

then your img codes will return and photobucket will stop being a tool.

New format is dumb.

Yeah old 1 is exactly the same *guy I bought car from changed it originally* so I don't know what the original looked like in there if there was a rubber gusset or what lol. But it doesn't seat in there properly for sure because it has 2 opening spots if the thermostat does open up!

I'm almost frustrated enough to the point I' about to buy new radiator, water pump, pcv hose and wait for next pay check and get some more things just to try and eliminate this lol.

500 fg if neone can find something on thermostat seating and how it's supposed to seat in 1jz-gte and it solves this!

have you tried taking the thermostat out completely and seeing how it runs? i dont think your problem is in the thermostat. and is the water pump brand new or does it just look clean? maybe your impeller blades are wearing out.

also did the motor have the coolant completely removed from it? maybe it has an air bubble in the system and its not able to push it out.

Blades were perfect. on impellers Pump was the original pump from engine when it came from japan I BELIEVE, not 100%.

I may just order a new pump. and radiator. considering I might as well sense it's out now.

if coolant (or water) flows from top of radiator out of the bottom just fine then i wouldnt worry about the radiator. you can always find a radiator shop and they can test and check it out for you and tell you if theres something wrong with it. dont go just throwing money at a radiator unless you were already set on upgrading it.

dammit there has to be someone else that has some ideas on this
