you probably could but a new solenoid is pretty cheap

well is it gonna burn my shit down? I mean why have a solenoid the bikes already have push to start ignition. Has to be some purpose

i dont think it could, but it would probably cause some problems if the button got stuck or something

Toggle switch for the win. You can pick one up for about 2$.

i would be curious to see someone use a toggle switch in place of a starter solenoid
