Considered a c2 or c3? You can pick one up in fairly decent condition for around 10 grand. Leaves quite a bit of money to make it a monster.

True, but for 10 grand you can pick up a decent c5 now too, and you start with Much more, especially in the suspension /weight ratios...and a 6 speed.

if you like the VQ engine like the 350z or the g35 but dont want to be part of the scene, buy a infiniti fx. They share the same platform as the z and g but a suv.. same drive train and engine. they come in RWD or AWD. The RWD is more mod friendly when it comes to FI but the AWD can still support FI.
