Most systems on cars work in the same manner and have just as many parts that can get messed up/go bad. Your Maxima is a lot simpler than you may think. If you think that fewer parts is easier, which in my opinion it's not, then you need to be looking at older cars. The newer the car, the more stuff they cram in there.
i know it isn't a complex car, and that fewer parts doesn't translate to easier maintenance, but in comparison to a camry...
i'm kinda saying all the wrong things though. when i think about it, my main concerns have been my own mistakes/electrical/issues that could happen on any car. more than anything, i'm just looking for a fresh start with a different car. i don't really care whether or not it's as easy as working on a camry. that would be nice, but it's not a big deal as i don't mind putting in the effort to fix something. i just don't want a car like mine, where a new problem will pop up every other month
