It's funny people are saying I don't have enough money. They seem to be missing the cars I am looking at. They are older luxury sporty looking cars with a good aftermarket for me to modify it. Most cars with a 2jz stock have a decent aftermarket, which is mainly what I have been looking for. I am sort of staying away from bmw as they are not a real reliable platform to work on. I originally was going to pick up a nice clean sc300 and do that. But then the is300 popped into my mind, and I started searching for a nice candidate to pick up.
Something with a nice clean body, and good interior. As long as it run's I am good with that, I plan on picking up a 2jz-gte to swap in with my friends. I am open to non luxury cars, as long as they have a classy look with decent power adding options available. I saw a decent 240sx also that is in my mind too, my friend is selling his rb25 swap from his 240. So I could grab a body for it if I am interested I have first dibs.
This is going to become my project I work on. I have more cash ready for it once I pick the car up. I also thought about a cts-v but that is out of the budget range I am looking for, I also thought about getting a gto. At the same time though
I want a car that isn't made fast that often.
This is the car I am going to see this weekend.

you do realize that if you buy a 10+ year old car, dump a shit ton of money into it, and then go to sell it your not going to get half the money you spent back right?
It just makes more sense to me to save up money and buy something that's already fast stock.
