they take really good videos pictures are not the best but they get the job done.

I almost bought the black edition the other weekend but I'm waiting. I can't recall the website at the moment but there was a place with a $50 off coupon and free shipping. I'd google it or check slickdeals.com they had one for $70 off a few days back.
IMO go for the black edition. You can get much better frame rates at higher resolutions which means slow motion HD

2 of my buddies bought the black edition and seem to be pretty satisfied with it, I want to see your review on this one though. Not sure if I can justify the price difference.

yeah those got shit transfer rates though, mine has 30meg/sec, those are prolly 10meg.
