A few buddies of mine have STI's, they floor them everywhere and have had little issues. As long as a vehicle is maintained properly you shouldn't have much issues.

if it doesnt have to be fancy, fast or anything just get an impala or a malibu. they run just fine

they get pretty decent gas mileage and should be pretty cheap
