i only use jackstands. have access to lifts but i just prefer jackstands.

floor jack and jackstands are always extremely helpful tools to have around the place

This, although I don't work in anything related to vehicles I do have a friend who owns his own shop.

I use to use the lift my boss had, he use to work at a dealership for 20 years before starting his own landscaping business., so he had every tool you can think off and 2 lifts at his house with some older cars.

Today i just use a jack and jack stands and a creeper

You can pick up used two post lifts for cheap as shit. Depending on what you want to put on it and size you can even get small 2 post lifts for around 1500 bucks if you install it yourself

jack stands. Cheap, easy, convenient. I would like to have another creeper... I do the army crawl these days.

i did my rear shocks on my suburban with no jacks or stands, just crawled under that bitch and went to town...not saying it was fun or easy, but i did it


Pretty sure any major city will have places that will rent you out tools and lift usage.... i know the concept is getting more popular
