I live in Southern NJ. So no mountain fun or anything cool like that. Its going to be my "sort of daily driver" for a bit. I get to take my work van home so have no commute to work. Letting my girl use my current car til at least next winter while she saves up to get a new car. Her car has definitely seen better days.

yeah but imo the difference is still going to be neglible because hes not really doing anything racewise or based on times or anything. if the prices of the car are close enough i would consider it if it was me, but if it meant i was going to have to spend 5 or 10 thousand more i really couldnt say it would be worth it.

nah it wont be 5 or 10k more, my price range is $25-$30k. Theres an 08 base with 50k miles listed at like 26,999 I was thinking about checking out which is simiarly priced to the lower mileage 05-07s Ive seen (even cheaper than some)

K, well in that case the handling really doesn't matter, but I'd still stick with the 08 personally. The ls3 is nice.

sucks thats about the same as I bought as my brand new 2013 mustang gt for.... and it has no mileage and 420 horsepower stock.....

You want an LS3 car, and you want it to have the Z51 package.

if so get the LS3, if not get the LS2, that simple.

But, this has 430 horsepower stock, lighter, and better handling.

I don't want to argue mustangs vs vettes here, but it is interesting how the price/performance of stock mustangs/camaros are recently creeping closer and closer to around where stock corvettes are

People are making some good points in this thread. I gotta get my ass out to drive that ls3 car now and see for myself. Hopefully I can get done work early sometime this week so I can. We are currently working 6 days / week and my only day off is Sunday which makes it impossible to see cars
