Not necessarily.

If you seafoam a higher mileage car that hasn't been cleaned before you are loosening up alot of shit that does have the potential to clog oil passages, etc.

Old timers will sometimes use ATF to clean out a motor and it can cause passages to get clogged, etc. as well.

I suppose I could see that. The engine on this car has been quite well taken care of as far as I can tell though.

I thought about doing it to my 94 with 150K miles but I decided not to after reading some peoples experiences.

I did however switch to Valvoline racing 20w-50 and its never ran better. Oil pressure never drops below 40psi ;P

I wouldn't go quite that thick where you live though because of the cold.
